Lets talk hair!

Start your hair care regime off correctly. Before you shampoo your hair, use a wide tooth comb to comb through your hair. Use a paddle brush to brush through your hair. I find that doing this, will guarantee the hair wont tangle or dread once you start to agitate the hair and scrub the scalp. Once all the tangles are out then use a sulfate free shampoo.  Why use a shampoo without that ingredient? Because sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium laureth sulfate; the cousins- ammonia laurel sulfate and ammonia laureth sulfate are cheap surfactants that produce bubbles & too strong for the hair. It robs the hair of the moisture it needs. I mean it strips it dowwwwnnn. Squeaky clean is one thing but my goodness we need something to work with! We wonder why our hair is dry and brittle and a big part is from using shampoos with this ingredient. When your hair is dry and brittle; its also dull. Dry and brittle hair will eventually break OFF. Use shampoos preferably with ingredients that clean and soften the hair and not rob it of its moisture.
